This information applies to cases where the Oohdesk CMS player is used on consumer TVs with built-in Android.
Starting with Android 10 and above, apps do not start automatically by default. To enable app auto-start, you need to configure 
auto-start permissions. In some TV shells, these settings are removed by the TV manufacturer. This is not specific to Oohdesk CMS, but applies to any app.
The Oohdesk CMS player for Android OS is considered one of the most stable and reliable players in the industry, proven by deployment across many advertising networks.
We have a powerful monitoring system for potential issues, enabling us to quickly release and automatically update app versions.

- Watchdog: the player automatically restarts in case of crashes
- Content from the server is downloaded and stored locally (except URL and IPTV)

System Requirements
- Player runs on Android 4.4+
- Minimum requirements for video/image streaming: 512 MB RAM (1+ GB recommended)
Preparation and Installation
Device Preparation
- Disable screen lock and allow installation from unknown sources
- If using WiFi, disable WiFi sleep mode (Settings → WiFi → Advanced options)
Installation
- Download the app from the link in your personal account: Settings → Distributions
- Run the APK installer and grant all requested permissions:
- Tap "Install"

(Картинка) - Check "Do not show again" and tap "Start"

By default, the app points to the test server. To change the server address, swipe from the left edge of the screen to the right (place the mouse cursor on the left edge, hold left mouse button, and drag right). A menu will appear where you can enter the Oohdesk CMS cloud address: http://visiobox.cloud
- Open the menu by swiping, check the server address, then tap "Save"

- The app will restart and start syncing content. If no content is assigned, the Oohdesk CMS splash screen appears
- The app auto-starts on device boot
- Media content is stored either on device memory or SD card
- Screenshot requests are not supported on Android 4.x (available only on Android 5+)
- To stop or reactivate the app, tap 5 times in the top-left corner to open the menu
