Panel Setup

Supported Devices​

  • SSSP 2.0: DBD, DBD-P, DBD-T, DMD, DHD, UED, UDD-P, OMD, OHD
  • SSSP 3.0: DBE, DBE-T, DBE-POE, DME, DHE, UDE-P, UDE-S, OME, OHE, MLE, SHF, SBB-SSE (Signage Player)
  • SSSP 4.0 (Tizen 2.4): PMF, PHF, PMH

Initial Panel Setup​

  • Auto Power Off: Off (recommended) / 4 hours / 6 hours / 8 hours. This option controls the device auto power off to increase lifespan.
    ⚠️ Please note, this option must be turned off.

  • System -> Power Regulator -> Auto Power On. This function turns on the panel when power is supplied.

  • Before system startup, make sure you are using the latest/recommended firmware version.

To check, press the "Menu" button on the remote control. In the menu, select "System" -> "Contact Samsung".

Firmware Update via USB Flash Drive​

  1. The USB drive must be formatted as FAT32, and all unrelated files must be removed.

  2. Unpack the firmware archive files (folder "image") into the root of the flash drive.

  3. Connect the USB drive to the USB port on the panel.

  4. Turn on the panel.

  5. In the menu go to Menu > Support > Software Update.

  6. When prompted to search for firmware on USB, select "Yes".

  7. After installation completes, make sure the firmware is updated. In System > Support > Contact Samsung, the new firmware version should be displayed.

After firmware installation, it is recommended to perform a factory reset. From the off state, enter the remote control sequence mute-1-8-2-PowerOn. In the service menu, select Option -> Factory Reset -> Factory Reset.

Connecting to Oohdesk CMS​

  1. Press MENU on the remote. The menu appears.

  2. Use the "down" button to move the cursor to "System".

  3. Press "right".

  4. Scroll to "Playback via" and press right.

  5. Select "Launch URL". Press OK.

Important! If MagicInfo was previously configured, the URL launch option in the menu will be disabled.

You need to enter "Auto Source Selection" – turn it ON, then "Select Main Source" – choose "PC".

Then turn off the panel and turn it on again. MagicInfo will start for 30 seconds and then stop.

After that, the URL launch access in the menu will be available. Repeat the steps at the beginning of this page.

  1. Press MENU on the remote. The menu appears.

  2. Use "down" button to move to "Support".

  3. Press "right".

  4. Select "Home Page".

  5. Select "Change URL".

  1. Enter the application URL in the address bar:
  • If you use TIZEN, then https://visiobox.cloud/tizen (https required)
  • For older models with SSSP OS (e.g. DB-E or DM-E series), use https://visiobox.cloud (without tizen at the end)
  • Important! If you have your own server, replace visiobox.cloud with your server domain.

  1. Press "Done".

  2. Select "Launch URL".

  3. The Oohdesk CMS app will start.

  1. Enter the numeric activation PIN code given in your personal account on the remote.

  2. To confirm input — press the "down" cursor on the remote.

To erase a mistakenly entered digit, press the "up" cursor on the remote.

To reactivate the player (reset settings), press the red service button on the remote.

Factory Reset (if necessary)​

Important! Due to Samsung specifics, this procedure must be performed TWICE IN A ROW (otherwise the reset will be incomplete).

TV is off (standby mode)

  1. On the remote, press MUTE -> 1 -> 8 -> 2 -> Power On

  2. In the service menu, select Option -> Factory Reset -> Factory Reset.

Modem Activation (skip if not relevant)​

TV is off (standby mode)

  1. On the remote, press MUTE -> 1 -> 8 -> 2 -> Power On

  2. Service menu appears

  3. Use "down" button to move cursor to "control"

  4. Press "right"

  5. Select LFD Option

  1. Select B2B spec support

  2. Select LFD cellular Dongle

  3. Enable modem support

  1. Turn off TV

  2. Plug the modem into the TV USB port

  3. Turn on TV

  4. Enter TV menu

  5. Select network settings

  6. Choose modem operation

  1. Press "connect"

  2. Connection established, press "OK"

  3. TV will suggest updating firmware via cellular network. Select "No".
