Hosting Recommendations for the Server

This option is optimal if you do not have strict requirements for installing the server on your company's local network. You don’t need to immediately spend money on purchasing an expensive physical server.

Preparation steps:​

  1. Register and link a credit or debit card to the following services:

  • Hetzner or DigitalOcean — this is where the server will be hosted. Rental costs will be approximately $30-40 per month. This is more cost-effective than buying your own physical server right away.

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — media storage for content. Estimated expenses are $5-10 per month.

  • SendGrid — email sending service. You may be able to stay within the free plan.

  1. After registration, send us the login credentials for these services.

  2. After the server is created, we will provide you with its IP address. You will need to come up with a domain or subdomain like vb.domain.com (any name you choose) and set the A-record of this domain to point to the given IP.

  3. After that, we will complete the setup within a few hours, and the server will be ready to use.
